Positive: We loved this apartment! It has a large balcony with stunning views of the mountains. It has a real feel of an alpine lodge. We could sit there for hours! The apartment was very spacious for our family and well laid out. The attention to detail and cleanliness was top class. My host was easily contactable, always friendly and accommodating. The apartment exceeded our expectations - even better than the pictures. We stayed in Milan for a few days first, so this location was a welcome retreat from the heat of the city. We got cooler temperatures in the morning and evening so were able to stay outside on the balcony for breakfast and dinner. While the area of Delebio is not a destination, it is close to Lake Como. The nearest lake location is Colico, which is a nice town with plenty of restaurants and some nice beach areas to swim in the lake.

Negative: I can't fault the apartment or my host - just great! The area of Delebio has nothing much to offer - though there is a lidl a few minutes drive out of town. The town itself needs a bit of life and a shop open after 8.30pm! You would need a car to stay here. We chose this apartment for it's proximity to Lake Como and the mountains at an affordable place. We were able to do this because we hired a car.

Summary: Excellent apartment that was a joy to stay in. Would highly recommend for families.
