Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The home was convenient and good value, it was a great location for what we were staying there for. It was comfortable enough to sleep in. It was very very clean and we were impressed with this

Negative: The home was very old and tired, missing large chunks of wallpaper in the bathroom, lights in one room got dimmer if you turned on lights in another. Microwave dish didn't fit the microwave and the fridge was not cold. The TV was very dated and made a ticking static noise when plugged in so we didn't use it. The gas heater was very unclear on how to use it and we were unsure if we had turned it off properly. Only one hook for towels and the drying rack provided was broken. Beds were very thin and very minimal space to move around and store things but we did expect this from the booking. No manual lock on the door, only a key card lock to get in so didn't feel very secure - if you left the caravan without the key card you would be locked out and staff are only on site at minimal times to help. Door was quite bashed where people had jolted it before too so it wouldn't take alot to break into it without a manual lock on the inside. c Car gates to the park are inoperable between 11pm and 7am so you can't leave during this period or get back in if you're out - not great in case of emergency or if you're travelling a long distance for a day trip with a late arrival.
