Torno is a really charming village which stretches out into lake Como with its rocky promontory. It has maintained the forms of the ancient village in the narrow streets, historic houses, beautiful local churches, the characteristic fountains and the quaint piazza on the lake, it's called the little Portofino of the Como Lake.
Getting Around
Torno is 4 km from Como, 15 km from Bellagio and only 58km from Milan. Milan is easily reached by high speed train from Como and we can also offer a private shuttle service to both Milan Malpensa airport and Milan Linate airport.
Torno has is very own lake historic ferry stop which offers a beautiful and relaxing way to explore all of Lake Como. Torno is perfectly positioned on the main ferry routes for all of Lake Como. Services run regularly (every 20mins) both to Como, Cernobbio and across to Moltrasio. There is also a high speed service to Bellagio.
Villa Matilda is only a short walk to the Bus stop, ferry stop, and main piazza which offers bars, restaurants, gelaterias and services (banking, pharmacy etc).
