Villa I Due Padroni - Apartment Cantinetta Villa I Due Padroni is situated in the beautiful hills and vineyards of the Oltrepò Pavese, in Lombardy, the North of Italy. This is a region in which century old villages alternate with castles and forests. It is no surprise that this region is sometimes called the Tuscany of Lombardy.
Villa I Due Padroni has three floors. The appartment Cantinetta (45 m²) is located on the grond floor. TWe live on the second floor of the house. Apartment Cantinetta shares its entrance with that of the apartment of the owners of the villa. During the summer period you can stay also just for a few days with us. Of course, a stay for one or several weeks is always possible. An arrival on other days than Saturday is also possible. This completely independent apartment on the ground floor consists of: a living/bedroom with a double bed and a sitting area with an extra sofa bed; a kitchen with fridge, two ring ceramic hob, coffee maker (Nespresso); a bathroom, with shower, sink, and toilet; a small vestibule. The apartment is suitable for max 3 adults, or 2 adults with two little children.
Guests of the apartment Cantinetta can use the shaded terrace next to the villa. There is also a swimming pool in the garden that is shared with the other guests.
What to do during your stay at the villa? Lazing and relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, enjoying the views, the peace and the beautiful weather, these are a few of the favorite activities of guests of our holiday home. And when you after a few days are well recovered from the busy and full life at home, you may get into a more active mood. In that case too, the Oltrepò offers enough to entertain you, such as: sporting activities such as hiking and cycling in the immediate vicinity; exploring what the Oltrepò itself has to offer; day trips to big cities like Pavia, Genoa, the big lakes at the foot of the Alps, and of course the Mediterranean Sea; Shopping and sightseeing in Milan, second city of Italy, and the capital of fashion and design; or shopping in one of the two large outlet centers not far from the villa: Serravalle Designer Outlet and Fidenza Village; following a cooking workshop or visiting a wine cellar.
Villa I Due Padroni is situated in the municipality of Montecalvo Versiggia, which consists of more than 50 hamlets, or "frazioni". Our B&B holiday apartment is one of the nine houses in frazione Spagna. Next to Spagna lie the "frazioni" Francia, Casella and Tromba. Montecalvo is part of the province of Pavia, and more specific of the region Oltrepò Pavese, in short Oltrepò, approximately 70 km south of Milan. The nearest larger communities are Broni and Stradella, which can be reached directly from motorway A21. From these small cities you can reach us by driving 10 km south into the first hills of the Apennines. Our bed & breakfast lies on a range of hills at an altitude of 240 m between the valleys of the brooklets Scuropasso and Versiggia. The nearest village, Santa Maria della Versa lies appr. 10 minutes from the villa.
