The property is situated in a quiet position with spectacular view, near the Etruscan village of Murlo, 30 kilometres South of Siena.
The Murlo area is between the Chianti Classico region and the Crete Senesi. The countryside is dramatic and ever-changing between hilly rugged and undulating. The landscape consists of cypress trees, vineyards, olive groves, forests and chalk hills which change colour with the light.
An old stone farmhouse next to the owners' house has been recently well restored to a high standard and divided into two independent apartments.
The access to the apartments is by external stairs shared by the guests leading to the covered loggia where each apartment has its own small private sitting area.
Both apartments are furnished with taste and style, retaining a typical Tuscan country flavour, with cotto floors and exposed beams.
In the grassy garden in front of the house, each apartment has its own private table and chairs for dining out. The nice shared pool (6x12 m, seasonal opening) is placed in a position to best enjoy the glorious panorama.
Apt. Mandarino - sleeps 2 - 39 sqm studio - consists of a living room with a kitchen corner (oven, cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine ) a double bed, and a bathroom with shower.
