This beautiful, 2-bedroom retreat has been sensitively converted, retaining loads of character and original features.
The spacious living room, to the left of the front hallway, manages to be grand and cosy at the same time. It has two double sofas and some traditional wooden furniture, plus a large flatscreen TV. The painted, beamed ceiling is delightful, as are the other touches around the room, including the coat of arms painted on the chimney breast. Doors in the living room lead out onto a private terrace to enjoy the view.
Across the hall is the separate dining room, with a large wooden table and six chairs. The room has traditional wooden dressers and a brightly painted fireplace (closed up). The well-equipped kitchen is off the dining room. In it, you will find a large cooker with 6 burners and 2 ovens, a white butler’s sink, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine.
The two bedrooms are on the first floor, reached via a stone staircase in the entrance hall. They both have private balconies with lovely lake views. They share a bathroom off the landing.
