Summary: What a gem! Tucked away in the back streets of Como. I can’t fault this place. Staff are amazing, each and every one of them. We were upgraded - however I think every room here is special. We will make this our permanent pit stop on the way to Puglia now. Just a note - the breakfast is an epic affair. Make tummy space and time to enjoy it.

Summary: This was a really great surprise. We booked the Palazzo Albricci Peregrini on a whim to get out of Florence while it was raining. A quick train ride and a short walk from the train station and we were in Como for two nights. The hotel is truly first class and the host Elena was wonderful and quick to offer advice on meals, bookings, etc. The hotel is in a 15th century building with ten rooms that has been updated with all modern conveniences while retaining the look and feel of the 1400s. Also the chef and Elena provided a seven course breakfast (free) meal that put to shame the expensive meal we had in Bellagio.

Summary: A beautiful restored villa with a touch of class and rustic elegance. But the real stars of this lovely B&B are the staff and the incredible breakfast. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to stay in Como, unless you want a view to the lake.

Summary: Very cool, unique property in the heart of old Como. Staff and service was excellent. Room was very large and comfortable. Property is gorgeous and historic. Don’t skip breakfast. Five course homemade meal. Happy hour is fun too.
