Located in the Hautes Alpes region, we are passionate about our mountains and offer 10 chalets for rent in two major ski resorts: Vars and Montgenèvre. Our latest addition is the magnificent "Chantelevent" chalet, a 400m² south-facing retreat. This spacious chalet can accommodate up to 24 guests in an idyllic setting with breathtaking views of the slopes, Eyssina, and the Ecrins massif. Open year-round, we offer weekend and weekly rentals, with weekly rentals available from late December to late March and from early July to late August.
As a small and attentive team, we are dedicated to ensuring our guests have the best possible experience during their stay. We can connect you with catering services for meals, certified instructors for sports activities, and even arrange yoga or osteopathy sessions at the chalet.
Completed in December 2021, this chalet features 9 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. It also offers leisure and wellness facilities, including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, billiards, foosball, and a fitness room. Let us take you on a guided tour of the chalet.
Spread across three floors, the chalet overlooks the mountains and offers a stunning panorama of the surrounding ski area. Like our other chalets, this one has been designed with spaciousness and ultimate comfort in mind, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.
On the right side of the chalet, before entering, you'll discover a private outdoor jacuzzi heated to 37°C year-round. Inside the chalet, on your right, there's a storage area for all your ski and sports equipment. Behind this space, you'll find the leisure and wellness area, featuring sauna and hammam cabins, exercise machines, as well as a billiards and foosball table for quality family time or friendly competitions. Retracing your steps, you'll find two lovely double bedrooms, each with a shower room and shared toilet.
Ascending the stairs, you'll reach the spacious common area, including a dining room that can seat up to 24 people. Adjacent to the dining area is the living room, a splendid shared space with a wood-burning stove for cozy gatherings around the fire, and a large smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils and appliances you need to prepare delicious meals. This expansive living area opens onto a balcony with a breathtaking 180-degree view. Take a moment to enjoy the fresh mountain air while sitting on the high stools and bistro tables, basking in the sunlight.
On the same floor, you'll find three more intimate spaces, each with a bedroom featuring its own private bathroom and toilet. These spaces include a double bedroom, a dormitory for 4 people with a mezzanine accommodating two more guests, and another double bedroom with a mezzanine featuring two twin beds.
The upper floor continues to offer sleeping arrangements with four additional double bedrooms, each equipped with its own private bathroom and toilet. Every corner of the chalet has been meticulously designed with noble materials such as stone and wood. The large windows throughout the chalet allow the light and the magic of the landscapes to enchant you.
The chalet is equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect, including Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs in each bedroom, baby equipment, 2 dishwashers, a washing machine, a dryer, 2 refrigerators with freezers, and appliances for raclette and fondue.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WINTER SEASON
- The ski area of Forêt Blanche (Vars/Risoul) boasts 185km of slopes ranging from 1,650 to 2,750 meters in altitude.
- The high altitude and a high number of snow cannons ensure snowfall every winter from December to April (and sometimes even beyond!).
- This comprehensive resort offers secure slopes for skiers of all levels, from beginners (green and blue runs, very wide) to experts (black runs, ungroomed runs, powder-filled couloirs).
- Access to "VarsPark": 4 freestyle areas and 4 boardercross courses for all skill levels.
- Access to the Chabrières speed skiing stadium, where the reigning world champion broke the speed record in 2023. Challenge yourself at the timing cabins from Thursday to Sunday: try to beat the record of 255 km/h!

Chalet Hosszu Services:
- Fresh bread and pastries delivered every morning (summer and winter, when the bakery is open).

During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is rented from Sunday to Sunday, with the possibility of weekend rentals depending on the period. Dogs are allowed, but we cannot accommodate cats. We also have 5 other chalets available for 12 to 19 people in Vars and 4 chalets for 16 to 22 people in the Montgenèvre resort.
