GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Dear Guests, we are Irene and Pietro, a young couple who want to distinguish themselves from the usual ‘hosts’. We have created an intimate and cosy environment in continuous evolution, immersed in the green and peace of our small and unforgettable Borgo di Griante, with a breathtaking view of Lake Como and the romantic promontory of Bellagio.
We want to offer you an authentic experience that is the result of our passion for hospitality, our studies and our first-hand experiences.
Griante still retains the charm of an authentic village, far from the mass tourism that characterises other areas of the Lake. Here it is possible to immerse oneself in a relaxing environment, surrounded by green mountains and the blue waters of the Lake, in a contrast that creates postcard-perfect scenery. The strategic location of San Martino Lake Como allows you to easily reach some of the most famous destinations in the area, such as Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna. Moreover, our Holiday House is a perfect place for those who love the Lake but also the mountains, in fact you can reach with a short trek the small Church of San Martino of the 16th century with a spectacular view of Lake Como to have a unique picnic, or you can go on to Monte Crocione and visit the famous tunnel dug in the First World War and at the top visit the remains of the Cadorna Line. The house is a 5-minute walk from the Spiaggetta del ‘pütt’ where you can relax and take a dip in the blue waters of the lake. In addition to nature, we are also close to the ‘Pearl of Lake Como’ Menaggio, which can be reached by a 15-minute lakeside walk, and just a ten-minute walk from the house are the ferry-boats to Bellagio, the ‘Bomboniera del Lago’ with its characteristic uphill alleys, or to Varenna with the ‘Passeggiata degli Innamorati’ (Lovers' Promenade) that runs along the lake. The Villa Carlotta with its immense botanical garden, which extends halfway to Griante, can be easily reached on foot and will amaze you with its huge variety of plants, which makes it unique (there are also masterpieces by Canova inside the Villa). The services we offer also include a bike room for bike lovers and a garage for motorcyclists where they can park their bikes safely and free of charge. San Martino Lake Como is easily accessible by car or motorbike from Milan and offers ample free parking. The property is also well connected by public transport: the C10 bus stop, which connects Menaggio with Como and the San Giovanni Station, is only a five-minute walk away. In addition, the house is conveniently accessible by public transport from Milan Central Station and the airports of Milan Malpensa and Linate.
COMPOSITION OF THE HOUSE:
The house consists of a large bedroom with Smart TV, Wardrobe, King Size Double Bed and sheets and blankets will also be provided. The bedroom has a large window on the patio overlooking Lake Como. The spacious living room has a large kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher, oven and fridge. All kitchen utensils, plates, glasses of all kinds for every occasion and cutlery will be provided. The table is for four people. In the Living Room there is also a large Sofa Bed that converts into a Double Bed, suitable for two adults, as well as a large Smart TV. The bathroom includes all amenities and a large glass shower, where shampoo and shower gel are provided. Towels are also included. You can also use the Laundry Room, which has a Washing Machine and a Dryer. Outside you'll find a very big garden with a patio and outdoor furniture perfect for relaxing, doing sports, picnic or just enjoying an aperitivo with a breathtaking view of Lake Como and Bellagio.
SUSTAINABILITY:
The house is 100% sustainable as all energy is produced by solar panels that heat and cool the environment. All furnishings are made of recyclable materials and the house is totally plastic free. For waste, the waste separation calendar will be followed.

To find out about all the services we offer you will be sent a PDF flyer a few days before your arrival indicating all the extra services we can provide. The PDF will indicate useful emergency numbers, nearby restaurants and pizzerias, nearby pharmacies and local supermarkets. The services we offer also include a bike room for bike lovers and a garage for motorcyclists where you can park your bike safely and free of charge. The car park is FREE and is located 50 metres from the entrance to the House.
