Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Brand new accommodations. In great conditions. Staff was outstanding and very responsive. Morning breakfast was excellent. Even though it was described as continental , there were many fresh items to choose from and good variety

Negative: I didn’t realize that the property was separated from Venice proper. It took 2 hours to get there from the train station and we went from water taxi to bus to ferry. The staff was excellent in communicating directions. Once we got there we decided to stay and not go back to Venice proper. We had a great time and enjoyed the people and culture offered on Pellestrina.

Summary: Beautiful Italian accommodation - plan to stay in Pellestrina rather than navigate the transportation to Venice
