Location
The apartment is just 100m from the "Rimbalzello" sports centre (entrance fee) where visitors can enjoy a beautiful beach, swimming pool, tennis courts, football pitch and cafés. The village has several good restaurants and pizzerias, to suit all budgets. The main centre and lakefront promenade are 1.5km away, just a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes by car.
For self-catering there is a supermarket in the village and Salo's weekly market, Saturday morning, is an excellent place to spend some time trying the best local produce.
From Toscolano Maderno you can take a ferry across the lake to explore the vineyards and beautiful towns such as Peschiera del Garda. Alternatively, on the western shores, you can enjoy many of the sights including the new museum in Salo - MUSA in a converted church.
The nearest airports are Verona Villafranca (1 hour 5 minute drive) and Milan Bergamo (1 hour and 15 minute drive).
