ACCESSIBILITY
Guests who wish to enjoy Cernobbio will need to walk up and down a steep hill and take many stairs. There are also stairs in the building (the apartment is on the second floor), but, as a reward, you get to enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony!

This apartment is located in Cernobbio, a characteristic lakeside town 7 km from Como city and near the Swiss border. Cernobbio is home to some of the most famous Lake Como villas such as Villa d’Este and Villa Erba.
There are bars and restaurants in the area and a supermarket nearby. A short walk downhill will take you to the beautiful lakefront (and a nice walk uphill will take you back!).
GETTING AROUND
The convenient private parking makes this a desirable accommodation for those who are traveling by car.
Traveling to and from Cernobbio is also quite easy with public transport. There are many ASF Autolinee bus lines connecting Cernobbio to Como city and other lakeside towns. Tickets can be obtained from the driver (cash only) or in designated places in Cernobbio and Como. Please note that the buses don\'t run very often and services stop at around 10 pm! Taxi rides are available, but not easily attainable in the region.
Another option is to take the ferry from the pier on the lakefront and travel to Como and other nearby locations. Timetables and tickets are available on the Navigazione Laghi website.
From Como, it is easy to travel to Milan and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno) by train. There are also public ferries traveling to other lakeside towns from the pier in Como center.
The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost.

>If you feel like walking, Como city center is actually a walking distance away. The walk takes less than an hour. Take the big road till Villa Olmo, and then there is a lakeside pedestrian path.

The Greenway goes through the little towns from Colonno to Griante. From Cernobbio, you can get to the starting point in Colonno by bus. Another pleasant and laid-back hiking path in the area is Via Verde which connects Moltrasio to Laglio.
