Summary: We loved the location and the view was wonderful, worth the 92 step climb up to the apartment. Julie was flexible and let us check in a couple of hours early. However, we never did meet her in person despite a request to do so as we had some questions. This was my only VRBO rental that the owner's representative did not meet me in person to show me around the unit and answer any questions. Main issue was parking, on the day that we arrived the communal parking was full and there was very limited parking down by the lake front. I ended up having to drive around for some time trying to find a parking spot. Please note that the communal parking is very tight and not all slots are accessible with a full size vehicle. The apartment description states that there is a private parking place in a garage a 5 min walk away. When I enquired about using it, it transpires that this is not actually owned by the apartment and hence is only available if its owner is not using it. Julie promised to check its availability, but never did get back to me. Fortunately, we were able to find parking during the rest of our stay, but this could be more of a problem in peak season and during market day when the communal parking has to be vacated.
