Positive: The direct access to the lake is perfect - being able to swim in the beautiful lake whenever you please - in your own garden - is a dream come true! The scenery is breathtaking. Mattia was really very helpful and always on hand to answer queries or provide assistance. The apartment helpfully provides coffee and some toiletries and is well equipped meaning you can cook as you would at home. The apartment was very clean. The apartment is in a good location a minute from a bakery, bar and mini market and a restaurant with great food. The geographical location is great with Lugano Switzerland and Menaggio Como together with lots of other lakeside towns close by although a car was essential Free parking

Negative: It is on a very busy road but this is clear from the listing. You have to walk along the busy road to get anywhere including your car or the garden. The “bedroom” in the ceiling is very cool (and the bed very comfortable!) but it was tricky keeping our young children out of it (again this is clear from the listing) We struggled to park once or twice in 8 days as parking nearby is fairly limited
