It is a 15-minute drive to Gargnano, 30-40 to Saló, and in between there are other beautiful places such as Toscolano-Maderno, which also has a ferry to the other side of the lake to Torri del Benaco.From Gardola there are numerous hiking and mountain bike routes into the mountains and down to the lake.
